Val M. has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as Technical Lead at Newsela since January 2018, following roles as Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Web Developer Intern. Prior to Newsela, Val M. was a Software Engineer Intern at Immersion Corporation, focusing on deployment automation in the cloud using AWS and related technologies. From June 2013 to December 2016, Val M. worked at SoftServe as a Software Engineer, developing and supporting various Python and JavaScript projects. Val M.'s technical skill set includes backend and frontend development, continuous integration with Jenkins, and expertise in technologies such as Python, JavaScript, AWS, and Agile Scrum processes. Education includes a Master's degree in Software Engineering from International Technological University and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from National University of Water Management.
