Aseem Borkar

Aseem Borkar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in flight control systems and a strong academic background. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer-III at NewSpace Research and Technologies since May 2023, Aseem previously held the position of Engineering Manager at the Technology Innovation Hub for IoT and IoE at IIT-Bombay from February 2022 to April 2023. Aseem's earlier roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Research Associate at IIT-Bombay. Aseem's teaching experience spans multiple courses in systems and control engineering as well as aerospace engineering. Aseem holds a PhD in Systems and Control Engineering and a Master of Technology in Aerospace Engineering, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
