Ashmita is an experienced engineer specializing in systems engineering, UAV design, and technical project management. Currently serving as Engineer III at NewSpace Research and Technologies since July 2020, Ashmita focuses on requirements decomposition, technical risk assessment, and UAV architecture, while also managing flight test schedules. Previous roles include Multidisciplinary Optimization Engineer, and Propulsion Design Engineer I, with a foundation in private tutoring for middle school science and mathematics. As the founder of Swapaksh, Ashmita championed indigenous aircraft design in India and conducted market research for electric aircraft. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Summer Research Fellowship at IIT Bombay.
