Ram D Gadekar

Ram D Gadekar holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where they specialized in UAVs, flight dynamics, and control systems. As a Flight Dynamics and Control Engineer at AIRODYN SYSTEMS PVT LTD, they led the design of advanced UAVs and developed critical flight control systems. In their previous role as a Senior Project Associate at IIT Kanpur, they contributed to the development of micro UAVs and rotorcraft, focusing on modeling and testing. Currently, they work as an Associate Principal Engineer at NewSpace Research and Technologies, focusing on guidance, control, and flight dynamics for high-performance UAVs and guided munitions. Additionally, Ram has held leadership positions, such as President of the Society of Aerospace Engineers at IIT Kanpur, and has been an active member of the Vertical Flight Society.
