Amanda McLaughlin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda began their career in 2010, working in the U.S. House of Representatives as a part of Congressman William Delahunt's office for a brief period. In 2012, they joined Racepoint Global and held various roles, starting as a Public Relations Intern and working their way up to Account Director. During their time at Racepoint Global, they gained experience in account management and client services.
In 2018, Amanda transitioned to NewStore, Inc. where they focused on content marketing. Amanda started as a Content Marketing Manager and eventually became a Senior Manager, responsible for overseeing the content marketing strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Content Marketing at NewStore, Inc., working with retail brands globally to enhance their digital transformation. In this role, they collaborate with brands like Birkenstock, Burton Snowboards, GANNI, and more to create exceptional shopping experiences through NewStore's mobile-first platform, which includes point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and consumer apps.
Amanda McLaughlin attended Plymouth North High School from 2004 to 2008. Amanda then pursued their higher education at Connecticut College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Government. In 2011, they also briefly studied at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Economics/Government.
