Henning Witzel

Henning Witzel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Henning began their career as an IT Engineer at JENDATA Computersysteme GmbH, where they gained practical experience in maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems. Following this, they co-founded Zebresel - Deine Agentur für digitale Medien, a media agency specializing in website and app development. At Zebresel, they served as both a Web Designer & Developer and later as a Product Designer & Developer. During this time, Henning honed their skills in design, development, and problem-solving.

In 2015, Henning joined NewStore, Inc. as a Product Designer. Henning played a crucial role in research and design, collaborating with various teams to create two products: the Omnichannel Manager, a back-office tool, and the Associate App. Seeking to expand their knowledge, they transitioned into a Product Manager role, leading the design and development of the company's new mobile POS app. In their most recent position as Head of Product Design, Henning contributed to the company's growth and success by delivering Omnichannel-as-a-Service to retailers, combining order management, mobile POS, and inventory management in the cloud.

Henning Witzel began their education in 2004 at the Staatliches Berufsbildendes Schulzentrum Jena-Göschwitz, where they pursued a degree as a Technical Assistant for Computer Science. This program lasted until 2006, after which they proceeded to Fachhochschule Erfurt. From 2008 to 2011, Witzel completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science at Fachhochschule Erfurt. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from 2011 to 2014, still at Fachhochschule Erfurt.
