There has never been another person like you. Who you are–what you love, how you laugh, what you grieve–has been created by God to make God known in a way that no one else can. God invites you to live into this new story, which is made possible through Jesus.

We are a group of people from many different places. We have taken up the hard work of reconciling to one another across all of the barriers–race, age, gender, social, economic– that divide us. God is writing a new story among us where these divisions are being replaced by trust, honesty and authenticity through the power of the Holy Spirit.

NewStory is a GLOBAL story!
We live in a world that is not how God originally intended. Instead of a world of connection, trust, and belonging, our world is too often defined by power, privilege, oppression and hostility. God has invited us to join God to make Jesus known as God writes a new story in the city of Chicago and around the world.
