Jim Webber

Jim Webber has a diverse work experience in the financial and mortgage industry. Jim started their career in 1988 at Commonwealth Mortgage Company as a Loan Servicing Supervisor. Jim worked in this role for four years until 1992.

After that, Jim joined Farragut Mortgage Company as a Loan Servicing Supervisor from 1992 to 1994.

In 1995, Jim joined Direct Federal Credit Union and held various roles throughout their tenure. Jim started as a Director of Network Services and worked in this position for 25 years until 2020.

Jim then moved up the ranks and became an Assistant Vice President of Information Technology from 2020 to 2022.

Jim then served as the Vice President of Information Technology for a year from 2022 to 2023.

Currently, Jim holds the position of Vice President, Enterprise Security and Fraud Management at Direct Federal Credit Union, which they assumed in 2023.

Jim Webber attended Franklin High School from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a high school diploma. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and studied Economics from 1983 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. In terms of additional certifications, Jim obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in July 2017 and the VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Associate (VCE-CIA) from VCE in March 2016.
