Robert Fraley

Robert Fraley is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Newtek Business Services Corp. since March 2010, Robert provides counsel to various portfolio companies in areas such as merchant processing and asset-based lending, and has successfully negotiated large loan facilities and led multiple mergers and acquisitions. Prior roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Paul’s Place, Inc., and as an Associate at Venable LLP, where Robert specialized in corporate and securities transactions. Robert began legal career as a Law Clerk for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, gaining invaluable research and drafting experience. An alumnus of George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School, Robert graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor. Robert also holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University.
