Tom Bence

Tom Bence is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network and security engineering, currently serving as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at Newton Europe since January 2022. Previously, Tom was an IT Engineer specializing in hostings at the National Trust from November 2019 to December 2021. Proficient in Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS, Windows Failover Clustering, backup and disaster recovery technologies, and various patching methods, Tom holds multiple Azure certifications, including those at the fundamental and expert levels. Early career experience at ASPIRE HE Technologies Limited, AZTEC Retail Solutions Limited, and Tesco PLC provided a solid foundation in systems administration, technical support, and customer service. Tom also possesses strong skills in project management, documentation, and mentoring. Education includes AAT Level 3+4 and other qualifications from Andover College.
