Joel Meyer

Joel Meyer has worked in a variety of roles since 2019. Joel began their career as an Assistant Admissions Counselor at the Illinois Institute of Technology - Office of Undergraduate Admission, where they were responsible for planning, advertising, and managing events for prospective students and their families, as well as aiding in prospective student counseling and overseeing the student ambassador program. Joel also tracked and analyzed data on student matriculation, which resulted in an increase in enrollment of 5%. In 2022, Joel began working as an Operations Enablement Associate at NewtonX, the world's first AI-powered Knowledge Platform. Additionally, they took on a Research Fellowship at SoReMo, where they were the lead researcher and head writer for a project analyzing the persisting effects of redlining on green infrastructure in Chicago neighborhoods.

Joel Meyer received a Certificate in Strategic Data & Artificial Intelligence from the Experience Lab at Penn in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Architecture - BArch from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2017 and 2022, with a focus on Architecture History & Theory; Policy & Ethics.
