Eric Lanvert

Eric Lanvert has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Eric is currently serving as the Group Cybersecurity Director at Nexans. Prior to this role, they worked as the IT Director for the SLS Business Group at Nexans from September 2019 to December 2022. From September 2017 to September 2019, Eric held the position of Head of IS/IT Coordination Europe & Transformation Program Manager at Nexans, where they managed a team responsible for business relationship management and IS/IT coordination in Europe.

Before their role as Head of IS/IT Coordination Europe, Eric worked as the Head of IS European Local Applications Services & Transformation Program Manager at Nexans from September 2012 to August 2017. In this role, they led a team responsible for application maintenance and support on over 200 local applications in Europe. Eric also implemented and adapted the IS strategy at the local applications level, focusing on mutualization, budget rationalization, and standardization.

Prior to joining Nexans, Eric served as the IS Strategy & Account Manager for MERA (Middle East Russia Africa) at an undisclosed company from January 2010 to August 2012. In this role, they adapted and implemented the IS strategy and road map for the MERA area, piloted major IS projects, and managed relationships with various countries and business units.

Eric's earlier experiences include serving as the Projects & Technologies Manager for Corporate departments, Web Portals Domain Manager, and IS Project Leader at Nexans between 2002 and 2009. Before that, they worked as an Application & Development Manager at Netfective Technology from September 2000 to December 2001, a Project Leader at Cap Gemini from June 1998 to August 2000, and a Consultant at SSA from February 1993 to May 1998.

Eric began their career as an Analyst at Metsys from March 1989 to January 1993 and as a Developer at SOGECIM from January 1988 to February 1989.

Eric Lanvert completed a Master's degree in Information Technology from CESI École de Formation des Managers in the period of 2020-2021. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Industrial CyberSecurity and CISO (RSSI in French) from HS2, which were obtained in the year 2023.
