Jonathan Velasco

Jonathan Velasco, P.Eng, M.Eng, PMP, CEM, has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as a Project/Plant Engineer at Nexans since July 2014, focusing on machine installations, upgrades, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Linamar, where responsibilities encompassed automated machine installations and production process enhancements, and as a Production Supervisor at Energizer Philippines, overseeing operations and improving production efficiency. Additional positions held include Project Management Officer at Isla Communications, Inc., Electrical Project Engineer at Pepsi-Cola Philippines, Inc., and various engineering roles that contributed to significant project accomplishments and cost management. Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Power Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Silliman University.
