Maxime Lesage

Maxime Lesage is an experienced professional in the field of deep-sea mining and subsea operations. Currently serving as the Interim Package Manager for Nexans and previously as Chief Engineer and Co-Founder at Green Minerals, Maxime has led significant R&D projects, particularly focusing on deep-sea mining systems in the Arctic and the integration of deep-sea and conventional mining methods. Maxime's career includes roles as Offshore Company Representative for Det norske oljeselskap ASA, and various engineering positions at Technip and Subsea 7, specializing in precommissioning, diving intervention, and subsea structure installation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Deep-Sea Mining from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree in Mechanics from Centrale Méditerranée, and extensive training in diving operations from INPP. Additionally, Maxime has been involved in mentoring PhD and Master’s students, reinforcing strong ties with academia.
