Simen Tunold is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the offshore energy sector. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Nexans since April 2022, Tunold oversees the engineering aspects of the Dieppe LT offshore wind farm export power cable project. Prior to this role, experience at TechnipFMC included serving as Project Engineering Manager for the Statfjord East GL flexible pipeline installation project, as well as leadership roles in IMR operations and development of innovative spooling methods for various projects. Tunold's educational background includes a Master of Science in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and studies at Delft University of Technology.
