Tom Thorjussen

Tom Thorjussen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the marine installation sector, currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor Marine Installation and Manager of Marine Engineering at Nexans since November 2000. With a strong background in project and construction engineering, Tom has been responsible for budget management, personnel allocation, recruitment, and training within the Marine Engineering Department. Prior roles include Principal Engineer Equipment, where Tom supported the technical aspects of equipment design and verification. Earlier career experiences include project engineering at Nexans, construction engineering at Smith Aluminium, and maintenance work at Norsk Hydro. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Construction Engineering from Oslo and Akershus University College and a Technician degree in mechanical construction engineering from Oslo Maritime Tekniske Fagskole.
