Valentin Roussel

Valentin ROUSSEL is a seasoned purchasing professional with extensive experience in raw materials procurement and category management, currently serving as the Group Purchasing Portfolio Director for Raw Material at Nexans since October 2016, overseeing an annual purchase portfolio of 700 million EUR. Prior roles at Nexans include Group Category Manager and Purchasing Manager for the Andean Business Unit, where significant savings and synergies were achieved across multiple countries. Additional experience includes positions at Thales, managing supplier panels and achieving substantial savings in rotating parts procurement, as well as earlier roles in software purchasing and student association leadership. Valentin holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Purchasing Management from CentraleSupélec and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ENSEM.
