Anna Paderna

Anna Paderna leads HR and recruiting teams for US & Canada as their Director of Human Resources. She has over 15 years of human resources and recruiting experience, building HR functions and serving as a strategic business partner. Her HR roots began at a prestigious Silicon Valley Law Firm that prospered in the IPO heyday of the dot-com era. Since then, the tech industry has afforded her a variety of experiences spanning innovative high-growth startups to multinational firms like Volkswagen. Her current goal is to elevate the human resources services to a strategic partner by aligning the talented people of Nexant to the amazing vision of sustainable energy and resources. She values her amazing team and how much they contribute to Nexant with their ideas and contributions.

Anna's biggest academic accomplishment consists of finishing a bachelor’s degree program at an accelerate pace, with a 4.0 GPA, while working full-time at a startup and overcoming health challenges. Professional accomplishments include saving companies money, for example, $1MM in benefits, and more. Anna has traveled to many countries and many tropical locales for cultural experiences and scuba diving. Locally, she takes short trips to the beach, mountains, deserts, and redwood forests. Her favorite activity is to spend time with her cats and birds at home.
