Alexandre Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alexandre co-founded Nexapp Technologies in 2014, where they served as the VP of Engineering. In this role, they focused on creating software products for customers and improving engineering culture and practices within the organization. Alexandre also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Université Laval starting in 2015, where they helped students with advanced OOP, SOLID principles, and building automated test suites. Additionally, Alexandre was a shareholder and co-founder at StatsRadio from 2016 to 2021. Alexandre played multiple roles in the company, including software development, product management, strategic alignment, and engineering management. Before these experiences, they had internships at Wanted Technologies in 2013 and CDID Net from 2011 to 2012, where they gained experience in software development and ERP platforms.
Alexandre Walsh completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Université Laval from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued Techniques de l'informatique de gestion at Cégep Beauce-Appalaches from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in Scrum and Kanban, including Professional Scrum Master II in 2021, Professional Scrum with Kanban I in 2020, and Professional Scrum Master I in 2019.
