Kate Balingit

SVP, Sales and Business Development at Nexar

Kate Balingit is the SVP of Sales and Business Development at Nexar. Kate has over fifteen years of experience in business strategy and development, with a focus on the technology and automotive industries.

Kate began their career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen, where they worked with clients on strategy and operations projects in a variety of industries. After Andersen, Kate joined Waze as Head of Global Business Strategy. At Waze, they created and implemented a new commercialization roadmap that shifted the company from an ads-based B2C model to an enterprise mobility demand management solution. Kate then left Waze to join Nexar as SVP of Sales and Business Strategy.

At Nexar, Kate has led the enterprise business organization, overseeing the commercialization strategy of a complex technology portfolio of both hardware and software products for B2C and B2B. Kate has also created a new business unit responsible for sales deployment of the Nexar enterprise solution. Under Kate’s leadership, Nexar has become a key digital transformation partner for connected services, providing custom platform development for Fortune 500 customers to leverage the full stack of our tech assets and capabilities in ambitious, global deployments.

Kate Balingit attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2003 to 2007 as a Regents Scholar. Kate majored in philosophy and English and was involved in several activities and societies during their time there.
