Edgar C. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of membrane technology and nanorobotics. Currently serving as R&I Project Manager and Senior Research Engineer at Nexdot since February 2017, Edgar previously held roles as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the European Institute of Membranes in France and as a Doctoral Candidate at LCPO, focusing on the synthesis of polymeric membranes and composite materials for application in oil and gas wastewater treatment and gas separation, respectively. Edgar co-founded the University of Waterloo Nanorobotics Group, where a soccer-playing robot developed under Edgar’s leadership achieved notable competition successes. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Université de Bordeaux and the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering.
