We Got You

We think differently about tires; we believe tires are not consumable of a vehicle, but they create a safe and clean future for all of our consumers. We have validated our belief through remarkable growth and technological advancement. NEXEN TIRE is always thinking about ‘Driving towards the Future’.

▷ Vision: Great Growth Potential
Our vision is to become the Global Top Tier Tire Manufacturer.
To achieve this, we continue to enhance our competitiveness through building brand strength, securing the most advanced manufacturing technologies, benefiting from new growth momentum and the expansion of our global OE market and sales network.

▷ History: More than 80 years of history dedicated to preparing for the future
Having started out as Heung-A Tire Industry in 1942, we produced the first vehicle tire in Korea in 1956 in the aftermath of the Korean War. In 2000, we changed our name to NEXEN TIRE with the aim of communicating our new vision for the NEXT CENTURY.

▷ Growth: Incredible growth stuns the Tire World
Our rebranding under a new corporate name in 2000 ushered in an era of rapid growth that astonished the world. Since 2000, it has realized a remarkable growth in the market as the share in the Korean domestic market in the field of tire for vehicles, which was only 8% in the past, became over 20% as of today. Namely, NEXEN TIRE has sprung as a true global business that has about 340 dealers in approximate 140 countries in the world.

With the constant expansion in our production capacity, we have leveraged high value-added products, technologies and transparent management to grow NEXEN TIRE with innovation, quality and performance.
