Gavin Bell

Gavin Bell is a skilled materials scientist with a focus on nano polymer coatings and water protection for electronic devices. Currently serving as a Coating Engineer at Nexeon Ltd since May 2022, Gavin previously held the position of Failure Analysis and Materials Scientist at P2i, specializing in evaluating coatings and conducting root cause investigations related to electrochemical corrosion. Gavin's experience also includes work as a Scientific Consultant at Bio Nano Consulting, contributing to the development of an ammonia gas sensor, and a role as a Research Chemist at A*STAR, where novel magnetic metallic nanoparticles were synthesized for imaging applications. Gavin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from UCL and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
