Anthony Timpson

Anthony Timpson has worked in a variety of geospatial roles since 2007. Anthony began as a Project Coordinator at Sanborn and then moved on to become a GIS Specialist II at Structural Integrity in 2010, where they were responsible for gas, oil, and nuclear facilities mapping and modeling. In 2013, they worked as a GIS Consultant for Healthy Reefs for Healthy People. Anthony then joined FarmReign as a GIS Consultant and R&D Scientist in 2014, where they developed automation utilizing Python to cut turnaround time on harvest data processing and end product creation. From 2015 to 2019, Anthony worked as a Geospatial Applications Developer at Harris Computer Systems, where they brought GIS mapping capabilities to legacy ERP software. Since 2019, they have been a Geospatial Application Developer III at Nexgen, Inc.

Anthony Timpson received their MSc in Geographic Information Science from the University of Denver in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Geography/Environmental Systems from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2006. Anthony also holds a Graduate Certificate in GIS from the University of Denver.
