Stephen Tarr

Stephen Tarr is an experienced finance and operations executive with a diverse background across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations at NexGenT since February 2020, Stephen manages all finance, accounting, and HR activities, and has established key financial structures for the company. Prior to this role, Stephen was a founding partner of Dominion Equities, L.P., and served as Chief Financial Officer at Amplifier, where responsibilities included financial planning, accounting, and investor relations. Additional experience includes heading finance at SmithCo Investments and founding VideoNow, Inc. Stephen's earlier roles include Executive Director for the Emerging Leadership Initiative and Managing Director at Prime New Ventures, alongside foundational work as a planning analyst intern at WilTel Telecommunications. Stephen holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at Austin, a BS in Economics and Mathematics from The University of Tulsa, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online.
