Ankit Soni

Ankit Soni is a Principal GaN Device Engineer at Nexperia since October 2022, focusing on the development of GaN-based devices. Prior experience includes roles at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Princ Eng in Technology Development and at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) as a Postgraduate Student and Research Assistant, where Ankit developed computational frameworks and TCAD simulation strategies for GaN HEMT devices. Ankit also held a summer research internship at the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory, analyzing atmospheric radars, and completed practical training in robotics and image processing at NextSapiens. Ankit holds a PhD in the Design of GaN-based RF and High Power HEMT/Diodes from IISc and a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.
