Ming Zhao

Ming Zhao currently serves as Technical Director-GaN Epi at Nexperia, where responsibilities include defining technical and business strategy and establishing a GaN Epi process capability. Prior to this role, Ming Zhao spent over 14 years at imec, progressing from Senior Researcher to Principal Member of Technical Staff, leading MOCVD Epi process development for GaN applications and managing significant projects related to III-N Epitaxy. Additional experience includes a teaching assistantship at Linköping University and work as a Process Research Engineer at the Device Physics Laboratory. Ming Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Material Physics in Semiconductors from Linköping University, an M.S. in Material Physics from the same institution, and a B.E. in Thermal Physics from Tsinghua University.
