Zach Williams has a diverse work experience beginning with their role as a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern at Cormetech in 2008. Zach then worked at NASA Glenn Research Center as a Research Mechanical Engineer from 2009 to 2017, where they were responsible for the maintenance and testing of eight, ~$1.0 million engines. In 2015, they began working at NC State University Poole College of Management as a Research Assistant, providing financial guidance to four NC State startups. In 2016, they held two roles simultaneously, as an Economic Development Analyst at NCGrowth and as a Consulting Intern at SBTDC. Finally, in 2017, they co-founded NExS Software.
Zach Williams received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009. Zach later returned to North Carolina State University to complete a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization in 2017. Zach also holds a Professional Engineer certification.
