Mischa Hamara

Mischa Hamara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program design, venture building, and community empowerment. Currently serving as the Director of Programs and Program Consultant at NEXT Canada since January 2022, Mischa previously held significant roles, including Head of Incubation at Bay & Co and Director of gBETA Toronto at gener8tor, where responsibilities included program development and startup recruitment. As a co-founder of Seed by Seed, Mischa focused on reconnecting communities with their food systems. Additional experience includes managing global program innovation at WE, leading workshops at the University of Toronto, and coaching a global team at WE.org. Mischa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics and International Development from Dalhousie University.
