Robin K. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. They started their career as a Unix System Administrator at Go Internet in 1998. They then moved on to Another.com, where they worked as a Unix Systems Administrator for three years.

In 2003, Robin joined Image Data Systems as the Lead Unix Systems Administrator. Here, they designed and managed the creation of a DAM (Digital Asset Management) system for image hosting and delivery.

In 2005, Robin joined Hildebrand as a Unix System Administrator. Here, they worked as the primary architect and delivery lead for a Computer on TV project. They also automated configuration management using Puppet and implemented a voicemail to SMS service using Asterisk.

Robin then joined Carphone Warehouse in 2007 as a System Designer, where they designed the PCI compliant payment card platform and redesigned the infrastructure for the main Carphone Warehouse retail website.

In 2011, Robin joined IBM as an Infrastructure Architect. They were the lead designer for various projects, including a Power upgrade, an upgrade to the CPW insurance application, and the migration of the CPW website hosting.

In 2014, Robin joined honeybee as a Principal DevOps Engineer. They led a team to migrate a legacy Windows dotNet application to a containerized solution running in Kubernetes on AWS.

In 2018, Robin joined Philip Morris International as a Cloud Native Architect. They defined the architecture for the Centralized Identity Management platform and built it.

Currently, Robin is working at Next DLP as the Platform Engineering Lead, a role they started in 2019.

Robin K. attended the University of Southampton from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
