Siva Kumar attended Don Bosco Matriculation School, Egmore from 1964 to 1975. Siva then attended Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1976 to 1981, earning a BS. Finally, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1982 to 1984, earning an MBA in Finance and Marketing.
