Next Play Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Bakersfield, California.
We’re on a mission to expand access to youth sports and competitive activities by reducing financial barriers for families and creating inclusive, community-driven programs across Kern County.

Our work focuses on three core goals:
💙 Expanding Access – ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate, regardless of income or background.
💚 Building Opportunities – connecting families with programs, scholarships, and community resources that help kids grow in confidence and teamwork.
💖 Funding the Next Play – providing grants, events, and partnerships that keep youth in the game and thriving.

What We Do
• Operate local youth leagues and programs, including MLS GO Bakersfield, a grassroots soccer initiative.
• Host community events such as the Next Play 5K to promote active lifestyles and raise scholarship funds.
• Partner with local schools, small businesses, and organizations to create sustainable impact through sponsorships, volunteerism, and in-kind support.
