Emma Learoyd possesses extensive experience in the buying and design sectors, having worked in various roles since 1997. Currently serving as the Furniture Buying Manager and Head of Buying at Next since September 2013, Emma oversees textiles and garden centre purchases. Prior to this, Emma held positions as a Senior Buyer, focusing on children's bedding and bathroom accessories, and contributed as a Designer and Tutor at Emma Learoyd Design from 2010 to 2013. Emma's career began at John Lewis as a Buyers Clerk, followed by an Assistant Buyer role at George @ Asda, and several positions at Next Group PLC, including Girls Buying Manager and Buyer, covering a wide range of products from womenswear to children's clothing. Emma holds a BA Hons in Textiles Design from Nottingham Trent University, completed in 1997.
