Ryan Powell is currently the Network Development Team Leader at Next, overseeing significant infrastructure projects while ensuring the effective management and development of their team. They have previously served as the Operations and Response Centre Manager at the University of Derby, where they managed a data center budget, led a team, and achieved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. With a background ranging from ICT Technician to Systems Engineer, Ryan has amassed extensive experience across various sectors including higher education and retail. Additionally, they are committed to community service as a School Governor and Parish Councillor. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Networks from the University of Derby.
