KC M.

KC M. has worked in multiple roles within the technology and cybersecurity field. In 2016, they started working as a System/Network Administrator at Leidos, where they stayed until 2018. During this time, KC gained experience in managing systems and networks. In 2018, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Decom Data Center Technician, where they were responsible for decommissioning data centers. Later in the same year, KC moved to KeyW Corporation as a Cyber Information Assurance Analyst, focusing on cybersecurity and information assurance. Currently, they are working as a Cybersecurity Engineer at Next Rev Technologies since March 2020. Overall, KC M. has a diverse background in technology and cybersecurity, with experiences ranging from system administration to data center management and cybersecurity analysis.

KC M. has a strong education background in the field of cybersecurity. They obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity from the same university in 2015.

In addition to their degrees, KC M. has acquired several certifications related to cybersecurity and cloud computing. They obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in September 2020. They also hold certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Security – Specialty obtained in May and June 2020, respectively. Furthermore, they have earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in May 2020 and plan to obtain the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification in May 2023.

KC M. has also obtained certifications from CompTIA, including the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in May 2014 and the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification in July 2015. Additionally, they have received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in March 2021.
