Anna Kessen

Anna Kessen has had ample work experience in the legal and compliance field. Anna started their career in 2010 as an Attorney at SachsenFonds Asset Management GmbH, where they worked until December 2011. After that, they joined King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin as an Associate, specializing in Private Equity and Investment Funds. Anna held this role from December 2011 to August 2014. Following this, Anna served as a Corporate Counsel and Fund Manager at EURAMCO Asset GmbH from October 2014 to January 2020. Currently, they hold two positions at Next47, starting as a Manager in Legal & Compliance in February 2020 and later becoming the Head of Legal Compliance in August 2021.

Anna Kessen obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Banking, Corporate, and International Trade Law from the American University Washington College of Law, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, they also briefly attended Bucerius Law School, focusing on International Commercial Law.
