David Ohman

David Ohman has gained a diverse range of work experience over the years. David has recently worked as an Accounting Specialist and Payroll Manager at NEXTAFF since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chef - On Site (Seasonal) at Park Avenue Catering, where they performed food prep and plating duties for catered wine country weddings and other events. From July 2017 to December 2020, David worked as a Program Manager at Vivalon, leading a team in a call center environment to address the transportation and mobility needs of older adults and persons with disabilities in Marin County.

David also worked as a Program Director and Enterprise Manager at Buckelew Programs from December 2014 to June 2017, overseeing vocational training and employment services programs. David gained experience as a Web Author/Editor (Independent Contractor) at GISTnet from December 2015 to April 2017, where they developed and delivered learning and performance support products related to international trade and cargo transportation.

Additionally, they held roles such as Manager on Duty (Seasonal) at Rolling Hills Club, where they managed staff and facilities during evening shifts and ensured club rules were followed. David worked as an Account Executive at Colonial Life from December 2013 to February 2016, presenting insurance products to businesses.

Prior to these positions, David served as a Branch Manager II at Manpower from April 2007 to November 2012, achieving significant growth and consistently meeting operational metrics targets. David was also a Branch Manager at Advantage Services Group from November 2006 to March 2007, improving the order-fulfillment rate. Before that, David worked as a Customer Service Supervisor at CellMark, supervising a team of customer service representatives in a call center environment.

David Ohman has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA. In 2013, they obtained a Course Certification in Insurance from Upward Bound Training Solutions. From 2013 to 2014, they attended the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership, focusing on Nonprofit Leadership. In 2009, they participated in Leadership Santa Rosa. Additionally, David has earned several certifications, including a Residence Insurance Producer License with Accident and Health Agent & Life-Only Agent Qualifications from the California Department of Insurance in February 2014, a Hazardous Materials Inspector Certification from DHL Worldwide Express – Training & Development Programs Division in April 2006, a Series 22: Direct Participation Programs Representative Examination from NASD - National Association of Securities Dealers in June 1992, and a Series 63: Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination from NASD - National Association of Securities Dealers in June 1992.
