Ruben Suarez Alvarez

Ruben Suarez Alvarez has extensive work experience in the field of software development and technical management. Ruben is currently employed at Nextail as a Senior Backend Engineer since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Tree Technology as an SW Architecture Manager from October 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining Tree Technology, Ruben worked at Treelogic as a Responsable de Arquitectura. In this role, they were responsible for defining and developing the Treelogic Framework, as well as providing technical support and advice for projects based on the framework and other J2EE technologies. Ruben also developed the Fawna 3.0 framework based on Spring and Angular.

Earlier in their career, Ruben held various technical roles at IECISA | Informática El Corte Inglés. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Development Manager for different J2EE projects. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Technical Manager, where they defined and developed the IECISA MVC framework and was involved in the initiation, development, and technical support of projects based on the framework.

Ruben's career began at Seresco, where they worked as a Web Programmer and a member of the R&D team from April 2000 to September 2007. Ruben also gained early experience at the Universidad de Oviedo, collaborating as a student in the Informática de Gijón classrooms from November 1998 to March 2000.

From 1995 to 1999, Ruben attended Universidad de Oviedo, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Técnica Informática (Especialidad Sistemas). Ruben completed their studies and earned the degree Pdt PFC.
