Chen Vivante

Chen Vivante is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in firmware, embedded computer vision, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Firmware and Embedded Computer Vision Engineer at Nextbase since March 2025, Chen leads the integration of advanced perception features into dashboard cameras and continues to work on embedded computer vision for real-time applications. Prior roles include Principal Software Engineer at Humanising Autonomy, where Chen developed perception software, optimized deep learning models, and contributed to contract renewals. Chen’s experience also encompasses software engineering roles at Innoviz Technologies, Elbit Systems Israel, and a research assistant position at Ben-Gurion University, complemented by foundational experience as a QA Engineer and Analyst in the Israeli Military Intelligence. Chen holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
