Chris Chessell

Chris Chessell has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Chris began their career in 1987 as a Senior Auditor, Management Designate at KPMG. In 1991, they joined Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Auditor, travelling extensively through Europe and North America. In 1997, they were appointed Company Secretary and Finance Director for The Conair Group Ltd, where they were responsible for full financial management, product costing, and capex requirements. In 2018, they joined Rideables as a Non Executive Director, and in 2019 they joined Fleet Business Improvement District (Fleet BID) as a Non Executive Director. In 2021, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Nextbase.

Chris Chessell is currently enrolled in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the London Business School. Previously, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond's E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business, where they were an Academic Scholar. In June 2020, they obtained a FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from the FT Board Director Programme. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Public Accountant.
