Thomas O'Neill

Thomas O'Neill has extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology. Thomas started their career as a Research Intern at Upjohn in 1986. Thomas then worked as a Research Associate at MedImmune from 1988 to 1991. Afterwards, they joined the University of Maryland Baltimore as a Senior Research Specialist from 1991 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Group Leader in Gene Expression and Molecular Biology Services at Paragon Bioservices, Inc. Thomas then worked as a Research Scientist at Lonza from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they joined Amplimmune, Inc. as a Scientist from 2007 to 2015. Thomas then moved to MedImmune again and worked as a Scientist from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are the Director of Molecular Biology at NextCure, Inc., where they have been employed since 2016.

Thomas O'Neill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1983 to 1987. Thomas went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Applied Molecular Biology at the same university from 1986 to 1988. Finally, they completed their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1993 to 1999.
