Timothy Mayer

Timothy Mayer is the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at NextCure, Inc. since February 2016. Prior to this role, Timothy served as Senior Director of Intellectual Property at MacroGenics, Inc. from June 2004 to February 2016. Timothy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology from Penn State University, obtained between 1993 and 1998, and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned from 1990 to 1993.
