Alvyn Sofjan

Alvyn Sofjan is an experienced Data Centre Technician at NEXTDC since October 2016, responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, technical maintenance, and customer service within the data centre. Key responsibilities include assisting with customer equipment installations, managing cabling needs, addressing Remote Hands Requests, and maintaining core electrical and mechanical systems. Prior to NEXTDC, Alvyn served as a Field Service Coordinator at Fujitsu Australia Limited from February 2012 to October 2016, where responsibilities included logging and solving incidents while coordinating field resources. Alvyn holds a Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology from JB Hunter (2017-2019), a Certificate IV in Digital Arts and Media from TAFE NSW (1999-2001), and a Higher School Certificate from St. Pius X Christian Brothers College, Chatswood (1992-1999).
