Angus Barron

Angus Barron has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and operations management. Angus currently holds the position of Engineering Delivery - Director at NEXTDC, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the NSW / ACT Engineering Project Lead at NEXTDC from June 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining NEXTDC, Angus worked at Zi-Argus Australia, where they held various roles including NSW Operations Manager from August 2015 to May 2019, and Victorian Operations Manager from January 2013 to August 2015. Angus also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer from January 2007 to January 2013 at Zi-Argus, where they were involved in multiple projects related to systems design, execution, testing, installation, and commissioning.

Earlier in their career, Angus worked as a Systems Engineer at Dickinson Autocon Systems from September 2006 to January 2007, and again from September 2002 to March 2005. At Dickinson Autocon Systems, they were responsible for systems design, execution, testing, installation, and commissioning, with a focus on PLC, SCADA, batch, and MES systems.

Angus also gained experience as a Systems Engineer at Astro Consulting Services from July 2005 to September 2006, and as an Electrical Engineer at Connell Wagner from January 2002 to September 2002.

Angus Barron attended UNSW from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
