Shaun O'Brien

Shaun O'Brien has a diverse range of work experience in the electrical and project management industry. Shaun began their career as an Electrician at Main Seacombe Electrical in 2004 and worked there until 2010. Shaun then joined KLM Electrical as a Site Manager/Project Manager from 2010 to 2016. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Amp Electrical Contractors. Since 2016, they have been employed at NEXTDC, starting as a Services Manager and later becoming a Project Director.

Shaun O'Brien's education history begins with a Certificate IV in Project Management (PMBOK) which started in 2015 and has not yet ended. Prior to that, they completed an Accredited Data Centre Operations Specialist (Uptime) program from an unknown start date until 2018. In 2015, they finished a Certificate III in Communications (Telco). Going back further, Shaun completed a Certificate III in Electrotechnology from 2003 to 2007. Their earliest known education is from Mercedes College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Shaun has obtained various certifications including Advanced Negotiation Skills from Scotwork in May 2023, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn in January 2020, and several construction management and project management-related certifications from LinkedIn obtained in 2019 and 2019.
