Tim Butler

Tim Butler is an experienced legal professional with a successful career spanning over a decade. Since May 2015, Tim has held various roles at NEXTDC, currently serving as Head of Legal, previously as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel. Tim co-founded OVRL in May 2014, where the focus is on delivering high-quality aerial imagery and consulting services within the Unmanned Aerial Systems industry. Prior to these roles, Tim was Legal Counsel at Airservices Australia, specializing in commercial and technology agreements, intellectual property, and workplace health and safety. Tim's earlier experience includes a role as a Lawyer at Ashurst, concentrating on employment, workplace relations, and litigation. Tim also contributed as an ACT Committee Member for the Association of Corporate Counsel Australia from August 2015 to May 2017. Academically, Tim holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Information Technology from The Australian National University.
