Cameron Gilmour has a strong background in the energy industry, with extensive experience in the LNG sector. Cameron has held various leadership roles at NextDecade, Shell, and BG Group.

At NextDecade, Cameron currently serves as the VP Energy Supply. Prior to this, they worked at Shell as the GM Commercial, LNG Value Chain, where they led cross-functional teams and provided commercial solutions for Shell's Integrated Gas business. Cameron also developed an acquisition strategy for a pipeline mega-project. Before that, Cameron was the GM Commercial, Lake Charles LNG, where they managed all commercial and business development activities for a $9 billion LNG export project. Cameron successfully negotiated the commercial and financial structure of the project.

At BG Group, Cameron held several positions, including Lake Charles LNG Venture Director, where they oversaw various aspects of the project and negotiated agreements with terminal owners. Cameron also served as the Chief Commercial Officer for UK Upstream, General Manager of the Domestic Business, and General Manager of LNG Commercial for QCLNG. In these roles, they drove business performance and developed commercial strategies to optimize operations and secure partnerships.

Cameron's experience also includes being the Director of LNG Commercial Operations for LNG Trading at BG Group, where they established and managed the company's LNG trading business. Cameron was responsible for contract negotiations and developing systems and processes to maximize the value of BG's LNG supply and shipping positions. Cameron started their career at BG Group as the Manager of LNG Operations in Trinidad.

Cameron Gilmour attended Imperial College London from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering.
