Jacob A. Boyd

Jacob A. Boyd has a strong background in the energy industry, with a focus on LNG liquefaction projects. Jacob A. has held various management roles at Cheniere Energy, Inc., where they gained extensive experience in project management, field engineering, quality management, and regulatory compliance. Jacob also worked as a Construction Manager at Wood, a Nuclear Quality Professional at Duke Energy Corporation, and a Refinery Inspector at CITGO. Jacob A. has successfully completed various mechanical projects as an Independent Contractor. Most recently, Jacob has been working at NextDecade as a Senior Manager in Construction and will soon transition to the role of Director, Construction- RGLNG Site Director.

Jacob A. Boyd attended the Electric Power Research Institute from 2011 to 2012, where they completed the Technical Program in Nuclear Power - Inspection & Materials. Jacob A. also obtained certifications such as API 510 and API 570 from the American Petroleum Institute, as well as a certification as a Certified Nuclear Power Inspector from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Additionally, they obtained a certification in Level II Shearwave & Phased Array Ultrasonics from ASNT (The American Society for Nondestructive Testing). Prior to their time at the Electric Power Research Institute, Jacob A. Boyd obtained a high school diploma from Rockport-Fulton High School, though the specific years of attendance are unknown.
