Luisana Padron

Luisana Padron is an accomplished mechanical engineer with a strong background in both engineering and leadership. Currently serving as an Associate Mechanical Engineer at NextDecade since June 2022, Luisana has progressed from a Mechanical Engineering Intern to a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Quality Control Engineer with the NASA Texas Space Grant Consortium and leadership as President of the Society of Women Engineers at The University of Texas at Tyler. Luisana's early career includes customer service and retail positions, which have contributed to strong interpersonal skills. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Houston Community College.
