Matthew F. has extensive experience in the commissioning and startup of LNG projects, currently serving as Senior Manager of Commissioning & Startup at NextDecade since September 2019, overseeing the Rio Grande LNG project's first phase. Previously, Matthew held the position of Commissioning & Startup Manager at Black & Veatch, where responsibilities included the Golar Gimi Floating LNG project, and prior to that, worked as a CSU Shift Supervisor at Bechtel Corporation for the Cheniere's Corpus Christi LNG Project. Matthew's earlier roles include system completions engineering for ExxonMobil and involvement in commissioning at Cameron LNG and Wheatstone LNG. Matthew's operational experience began at Enterprise Products as Lead Plant Operator and included military service as a soldier in the US Army. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Colorado Technical University and an Associate of Arts from El Paso Community College.
